About Gotham Glow
Tamar Vezirian is the owner and founder of Gotham Glow. She started her professional career 17
years ago in San Francisco, California as a makeup artist and rising performer on the local comedy
circuit. In 2002, Tamar decided to bring her talents to the Big Apple.
In NYC Tamar continued to perform sketch comedy, musical theater, and improv while working as a makeup artist. After being hired by an airbrush-tanning salon, she quickly excelled due to her natural artistry and became the top airbrush technician in New York.
Over the next three years, she continually developed her signature spray tanning technique as well as her own FDA approved odorless, vitamin-infused tanning solution. With an exceptional product and service, she soon found herself with a loyal clientele. Clients were delighted with her outgoing personality, warm sense of humor, and professionalism and astonished by the natural contouring and sun-kissed glow she could offer.
By 2006, Tamar saw a genuine need for a mobile airbrush tanning service to accommodate busy executives and the growing demands for bridal parties, corporate events, and editorial shoots. As a result, Gotham Glow was established as the round the clock "must have" service for discreet, professional in home and on-location tans.
Positive word of mouth reviews soon followed. It was time to expand. Tamar handpicked a talented team of artists to undergo extensive training to help deliver her signature Gotham Glow. In 2011, she and her team opened Gotham Glow, the first airbrush-tanning salon in the heart of New York City's Flatiron District.
Today, Gotham Glow continues to be well known for providing the best spray tan and natural contouring available. The results are unmatched and look amazing on all skin-tones.
